Management Team

Andrew Pegg

Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor and holds the CFA Investment Management Certificate. He has 25 years of experience in the property industry and has been active as a property developer with Wessex Investors for the past ten years. He trained at Conrad Ritblat and then held senior posts at Nelson Bakewell and Colliers Capital UK Ltd before establishing Wessex Investors in 2009.

Ed Heynes

Ed is a Chartered Town Planner (Member of The Royal Town Planning Institute) with more than 30 years of planning experience within the town planning profession. Ed runs a town planning consultancy, Heynes Planning Ltd, based in the South West of England, as well as working on delivering projects for Wessex Strategic. Prior to setting up his own business, he was a Director at Hepher Dixon Ltd, and then with Savills. Ed has also provided evidence on a variety of projects – both in terms of planning appeals and as an expert witness. He has also acted as an external examiner to the MSc Planning Course at Plymouth University.

Robin Teverson

Robin is a member of the House of Lords, chairs its EU Energy and Environment Select Committee and speaks in the House on climate change issues.  He is one of the trustees who holds the ‘green share’ in the privatised Green Investment Bank, and is co-chair of the Cornwall and Scilly Local Nature Partnership.  Robin is also a board member of the think tank Policy Connect which focuses particularly on sustainability issues.

Starting his business career in the freight industry, he has also worked in the financial services sector.  In the 1990s he was a Member of the European Parliament.  Until recently he served as a board member of the Marine Management Organisation – England’s marine regulator.

Lucie Brailsford and Niki Lathwell

Combined, Lucie and Niki have more than 50 years’ experience of providing board-level and international marketing, communications and PR services in highly technical fields such as Finance and IT. Today, they are focused on Planning and Place in the South and South West. Their consultancy ‘Seaxburh Partners’ devises and delivers strategic corporate reputation, relationship building and communications programmes for developers and destination managers and, together, they manage Wessex Strategic’s key stakeholder, media and public engagement activities.
